WTF: Pace Calculator

Greetings and Happy Friday!

I hope everyone is staying safe this weekend, especially the folks on the East Coast.

Today's WTF is all about the Pace Calculator.

There are lots of pace calculators out on the internet these days. I built this version into QuickMeet because I am mathly-challenged and needed a way to estimate training paces.

The Pace Calculator will calculate pace or splits (it's in the name) based on distance and goal time. Trying to break 2 mins in the 800, what would each 200m split be? Ok, that's an easy calculation, but you get the idea.

If you've been keeping track or workouts and races in QuickMeet, it can automatically calculate paces or splits based on your athletes actual performances. This is handy for calculating 150m paces for sprint workouts, or other random distances. Math is hard, but calculating paces shouldn't be.

That's all for this week. Have a great weekend!
