   Open the Stopwatch

   From the meet, open Stopwatch.

   Start the clock

   Hit Start at the gun.

   Tap each finish

   Tap Finish or Space Bar as each runner crosses; captured times collect in the Finishes list. Undo fixes a mistap.

   Match times to finishers

   Reconcile the captured times with finishers, then confirm on Score Validation.

The race clock is saved the moment you press Start, so nothing is lost if your page reloads or your phone locks. Reopen the Stopwatch and the clock picks up from the original start time, with every finish you've already tapped.

• Refreshing on the timing device keeps the clock running from the gun, not from zero.
• Opening the Stopwatch on a second device shows the same clock and finishes as they come in, but that device can't tap finishes while the first one is in control.
• If the timing device dies or goes offline, wait about 30 seconds, then reopen the Stopwatch on another device to take over. A device using the crew link takes over on its own.
• The public Live view shows the running clock and finishes as well.

Only one device controls the clock at a time. If you'd rather have someone else run the stopwatch — a volunteer at the finish line, an assistant coach — copy the Crew link and send it to them beforethe race starts. They open it on their own device and start the same clock and finish list at the gun, no QuickMeet account needed. There's also a separate Live view link that anyone can watch — parents, coaches, spectators — without controlling the timer.
